So today I went to 2nd Fridays on Halstead and 18th in Chicago.
Despite the cold it was a lot of fun. We got to see a lot of great art and meet the great people who made it. It's always such a privilege to actually meet the minds behind the work. I think the only way to really appreciate the work is to understand where it comes from.
There was only one complaint that I really had towards one of the artists but I'm not going to go into it as what I may think isn't art others may and for all I know I could be wrong.
Anyway for anyone interested check it out sometime. It's really fun, and FREE!
